In 2015 when my friend and I shared our Paso Fino gelding, Nevado, Shannon Morgan helped us understand his complicated past. She told us that Nevado was worried that he wasn’t a forever horse for us because his stablemate had a nameplate and he didn’t. He even told her specifically that he wanted a star on it and that his colors were black and yellow. I got him a nameplate with all his specs and he actually felt calmer and more confident. We had him until he passed in April. He truly was a star until the end.
